Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress. She was the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 until 2010. From 2009-2010, she starred as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution which is a post-apocalyptic science fiction show. She was nominated to the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson played Annika in the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton on the A&E television drama Bates Motel. as Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family relocated to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta only a few years after she was born but returned to Canada in 1992. She strongly feels connected to her Greek heritage, and she is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos started acting in junior high school. Later, she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting and within a few weeks, she was offered her first television appearance that was a tiny part on Supernatural. She continued working in TV, and was able to get walk-on parts in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin and in the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean as the werewolf. In 2009, she received her first major role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15 year old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her feature film debut with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller by Michael Greenspan. The film featured Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was the character of Sammi in Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original movie. The role of Charlotte Matheson, a survivalist living in a dystopian future civilization, was her main character on the NBC TV show Revolution. She auditioned while taking part in her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta and the pilot season in Wilmington. For her performance on the pilot she was nominated for win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She lost out to the actress from Fringe, Anna Torv. Production moved to Austin, Texas for the series' second season.
