Frances Rose McIver has been an actor from New Zealand since October 10, 1998. She is best known for her character Olivia "Liv Moore" in The CW supernatural horror-comedy iZombie series (2015-2019). She received further recognition for starring as Amber Moore in the romantic comedy films A Christmas Prince (2017), A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding (2018) The Royal Wedding (2018), and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby (2019).

McIver began her career in New Zealand series as a special guest in Xena: Warrior Princess. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Legend of the Seeker. Summer Landsdown gained more fame in Power Rangers RPM (2009). The role she played in Masters of Sex on Showtime (2013-14) in addition to the ABC supernatural show Once Upon a Time from 2013-17 was also a success.

McIver made her debut in film in the period drama The Piano (1993).
